Due to the stay at home order and social distancing guidelines that were put in place during the COVID-19 pandemic we will not be able to gather in a group. Therefore, the March 30th meeting and all meetings in the future until further notice have been cancelled. The club is exploring several options for holding monthly meetings online.

Promoting the hobby of Amateur Radio as well  as providing a service to our community

Welcome to the home page of The Wayne County Amateur Radio Club, located in Waymart, Wayne County, Pennsylvania. We are an active group of hams from several counties in northeastern Pennsylvania with an interest in all facets of ham radio. We come from all walks of life and are bonded by a mutual love for ham radio. WCARC members interests range from antennas to amplifiers, from traffic nets to DX rag chewing and contesting, computers to vacuum tubes…and the list goes on. Our monthly meetings are short and informal, with educational and “show-and-tell” sessions on a regular basis.
